Assessment studies, additions and renovations

Over a number of years Group Eight Engineering was responsible for a variety of projects at St. Joseph's Villa located in Dundas. This 5-storey complex is a nursing home facility for the aged.

Our assignments included a number of reports such as a study of the basement mechanical ventilation system and a complete building study that involved all structural, mechanical and electrical aspects.

The projects also included addition and renovation projects such as a full height elevator addition; sunroom addition and washroom renovation; the Clinic and locker room renovations.

The Villa remained fully occupied throughout the various renovation projects and as such, work was scheduled so that the residents could continue their daily activities.
